I've read other threads about spoiler removal with intent to replace. However I'm considering permanently removing the fixed spoiler. Does anyone know if there is an elegant way and what the hatch would end up looking like?
Haven't heard of anyone removing the fixed spoiler, but, you can see pics and videos of the older 2016 models that had the retractable spoiler to get an idea...
You will end up with the glass sitting lower than the trunks upper edge which, imho, looks a bit „where‘s the thing that covered this wierd gap“. The glass does not sit flush with the trunk‘s edge.
Just out of curiosity, why do you want to remove it?
