I assume you know you can actually sign up for Spotify free account and deal with the odd advert - it used to work in the car if you signed in with it over the wifi - I assume it still does

I used to have an account but cancelled as it was included with the vehicle - yes I could go back to a free one, but as it's included with Premium with more features and no adverts it would a retrograde step.

Latest software update had cured the problem - now able to play via vehicle account
