I was getting RCM_a003 and RCM2_a124 messages about passenger knee airbag after the car interior would get hot( >100F ) and now it's on/off if I get it in the morning or not. To troubleshoot it I removed the front passenger knee airbag and installed an SRS simulator(resistor) and see in the Service Screen it's giving "RCM2_a124_kneeABPassOpen_s" when previously it was something about high resistance.
Is there a listing of what these error codes mean? My car is 553 miles out of SRS warranty so this will be on my dime as they say.
