$43,625, minus $7500 federal, minus any state incentives. ($1000 in NY) So, mid to high 30s net.

Definitely priced in order to turn a profit. At one point there was a market for these at inflated prices - I'm not sure how much anymore. These are sitting on the lot here in Upstate NY with no markups, for what it's worth. California may be a different story.
