2023 MXP - Door Motor won't disengage...

Hello Guys,

I am a few weeks in with our new MXP but the passenger door is always engaged by the motor, meaning when I manually move the door when its open it always presents force and mechanical noise from the motor...

Is there some adjustment or reset I can do before I take it to service?

Will the door close on its own when you press the button or hit the brake pedal? If not then you need to schedule a service and they will replace the drive unit motor.

My driver side door drive unit went bad meaning the door would soft close and pop open but the motor always seemed engaged (very hard to swing open) and did not close when I hit the close door button or brake pedal. Service replaced it under warranty.
