Thanks for taking the time to answer. Appreciate it!Yes. Am using my Gemini lugs on my Uberturbines right now. Assuming you are using TPMS on both sets, it is a very easy swap.

My understanding is that with a Model Y, it recognizes it automatically after driving the car for a little bit.when you switch wheels to another set with Tesla TPMS, how to you tell the car?
Yep. They worked great and torque down to spec.Hi Jimmy,
So regular lugs from Ubers definitely work on geminis? And you were able to torque them to the proper amount?
Mike
Thank you!Yep. They worked great and torque down to spec.
Well I went from Geminis to Ubers, so no improvement in ride, but not a huge degradation either. I go back to the Geminis for winter setup later this month.Thank you!
Was the ride much improved?
Mike
Yep - It just worked. You can change the setup in the UI if you want more accurate range. My understanding is that with a Model Y, it recognizes it automatically after driving the car for a little bit.
where'd you get the Geminis fromJust finished switching my Uberturbines to Gemini wheels on my MYP. Used my original lugs and torqued to spec 129 ft lbs. Haven't driven it yet since the swap but excited to see if there is any performance difference and comfort. I'm using the Gemini wheels for winter set up.

I bought them on this forum from a local seller. Basically brand new with everything included with less than 50 miles for $1700.where'd you get the Geminis from
This can be all in my head but I did notice a pretty big difference. I've put 14,000 miles on my Uberturbines so I have a good sense of what the car felt like prior to doing the swap. Overall the car feels lighter to me and smoother. Acceleration feels more snappy to me but again probably all in my head . Road noise seems to be the same to me and maybe slightly quieter. How’s the ride? Improved?

Actually, you would choose any of the 3 presets for the appropriate wheel size via the wheel configuration menu.My understanding is that with a Model Y, it recognizes it automatically after driving the car for a little bit.
I know you can choose the wheel size in the menu settings. I was referring to TPMS configuring themselves automatically.Actually, you would choose any of the 3 presets for the appropriate wheel size via the wheel configuration menu.
TPMS automatically synced up after about 2 minutes of driving for me.I know you can choose the wheel size in the menu settings. I was referring to TPMS configuring themselves automatically.
