The 20" black Induction wheels are on our "Long Range Performance" reservation .. curious how this will play out .. wifey likes the 20" black Induction wheels better than the 21" (but she's definitely getting a performance).

This is a first so im sure they just havent added that disclosure.
I assure you going from a 19 aero wheel to a 20 with performance tires is gonna be about a 20 mile range loss

i know. Just wondering if tesla normally puts a disclaimer on the order page when you are upgrading to bigger wheels

My Model Y Performance order got automatically updated to have 21’’ Überturbine Wheels at no extra cost. If I'd prefer the Gemini wheels for the extra range would it make sense to just keep the 21s and sell them online to offset the cost of just buying the Gemini wheels from Tesla and swap?

Think again. My co worked tried to order the Gemini wheels and came to a whopping 2800$ for just the wheels not even including sensors.

I just placed my order for the Y performance with 21” wheel. I actually like the 20” wheel better. Do you guys know if they will allow people downgrading their option at no cost when they take delivery?

19" Rims P235/40R19 235*0.40*2+19*25.4=670.6 (2'-2.40")
20" Rims P235/35R20 235*0.35*2+20*25.4=672.5 (2'-2.48")

Based on the above
21" Rims P235/30R21 235*0.30*2+21*25.4=674.4 (2'-2.55")

Is it me or do the Y's 21s appear to be significantly wider than a 235 - especially in the rear?

My pre-order has switch to 21" but understand that configuring the performance at this time the only option is the 19". The AWD LR gives the option for 20". One would think the performance configuration is messed up at this point and we should see changes.
