Looking to upsize to the factory 22” wheels. Most of the sellers online that sell wheel sets all have Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Has anyone tried Goodyears and if so, whats your take on it compared to the Pirelli scorpion oem tires?

Thanks

I have no opinion on Goodyear but the options for staggered 22's are limited. I'm going to splurge on Michelin PS4S because I've had good experience with them and they come stock on other models. I'd expect reduced tread life with whatever you put on since the weight and torque of the X wears the tires much quicker than other vehicles.

I had the Goodyears (Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 TO) for about a year on factory 22s. Compared to the TO Pirellis:

Goodyear pros:
- better grip, super sticky
- better steering response
- just as quiet as the Pirellis

Pirelli pros:
- more efficient
- slightly softer, more comfortable ride
- all-season

I didn't own the Pirelli's long enough to comment on tread life, but I wore through the Goodyears in less than 20,000 miles.
