255/45 on 9.5inch wheel

The stock Gemini 19 in wheels say they are 9.5 inch from tesla. Is that accurate? I am ordering a new set of wheel and want to just move my new tires from gemini to the new wheels.

That's my understanding. The specs from Tsportline show 9.5", which looks about right given the width of the factory tires. If the rim were any narrower, curb rash wouldn't be the problem that it is.

Thanks.. I see options for 8 or 9.5 and id rather go wider on the new wheels so when i do need new tires i can go a bit wider.
Picked up my Y 2 days ago and will just reuse my new tires on these

Makes sense. 275/40R19 is a good alternative size to protect the sidewall.

I'm looking to go narrower if a decent set of takeoff wheels becomes available in my area. I'm a cheap SOB who thinks $300/tire is crazy.
