50 amp circuit only charging at 30amps with juice box

finally got 240v in garage and bought a juice box pro 40 charger. Problem is it started out at 40 amps (28mph) and after I set it up on the JuiceNet it now charges at 30amps max. Wondering why. Anyone??

Make sure you didn't accidentally lower the max power setting in the UI of the JuiceBox app or the dashboard.

Hi, did you ever find a solution? I just plugged my JuiceBox 40 (non-pro) into my Model 3 for the first time and it's maxing out at 21 amps.

What does the Model 3 display say? Does it say something like 21A/40A when charging? Or does it show maximum allowable is 21A?

And how full is your model 3 battery?

Had same problem. Problem solved when I selected 48amps on the JuiceBox program and not 40amps.

My concern with the JuiceBox is what happens to it if eMotorWerks goes out of business or decides to cancel JuiceNet access. Will it still charge like a non-connected charger?

Thanks, problem went away when i took the juicebox offline but is now back. Tesla car charger does 40 amps all day so im pretty sure it is the juicebox, either wiring internal to the juicebox or some software glitch, i didnt know there was a setting in the juicebox software, i will check and report back

Nope it is set at 48 and having same original issue again
