There are threads about this in the various car specific forums, but since it genuinely seems to span all cars and regions, maybe collect notes here? I can start...

I have two cars, 2018 M3 and a 2016 MX. No third-party apps now or ever (this was brought up in a thread as possible network bogger). Both accessed through the same account.
The X (2020.48.37.8 - it hasn't prompted for an update in quite a while) gets this error every few weeks, sometimes more often.
The 3 (2021.44.30.14) never gets it.

Note: the X's computer has been sluggish "AF" ever since it was upgraded with the FSD hardware a few years, but that's a long rant in its own right... It also got a recall letter about the SSD memory about a year ago with a "don't call us, we'll call you" vibe to it, so that's another possible data point.
