Hmmm...The model and renderings that I have seen did not remind me of a BMW 5 Series, other than they both have wheels, doors, windscreen, trunk, etc. These spies must have access to better information than I have!

Well it does say in the article next BMW 5 series which we don't really know what will look like exactly. Perhaps people heard it being compared to a 5 series in terms of size and seating and decided it might be based on it or similar to it. But who knows for sure, apart from CEOswife

Perhaps the rumor mills got their wires crossed, and people assumed that Fisker's new "Eco-Chic" vehicle was the Whitestar?
