No it’s a solid piece that has strong tape inside to adhere over the factory badge

I ordered one set of CF badges off of Amazon from a link in a YouTube video about the Plaid and it looks like that set off of ebay.... didn't fit. I'll have to look for another set, front and back.

The front should fit, the back should not. The front emblem is the same between the new and older version Model S. The back/rear one is a bit bigger on the new Model S.

The front seems to fit, but the badge may be too deep. I tested it, seems to fit right over it, just not sure it will stay.

And no, absolutely not putting emblem outside. All my cars get vehemently de-badged!

With as low profile as it is, not sure a CF cover would work. Best bet is to paint black or vinyl wrap with CF print
I just deleted mine on the rear and put a black Plaid graphic emblem in its place

Not a bad idea, especially the black plaid emblem. I'll keep looking for a CF solution, but you're right, might be really tough to find.
