Accident - Got hit from behind

Rear ended by a drunk driver. No brakes at all. $13k repair bill so far.

Other driver was insured, fortunately. They had me set up with Hertz for a Corolla. Me to guy at Hertz: “Have anything closer to the Model 3? Maybe a BMW, or Audi?” Hertz guy: “Best I have is a Camry.” That was a month ago. Expecting to have it back early-mid august.

I miss the Model 3.

challenge it. Them hooking you up with a Corolla is BS. you are entitled to same car class or *just* one car class below as a rental...

Out of curiosity, how does everyone have the dashcam recording set up? Do you have a simple USB flash drive or do you have a SSD hard drive recording the data?

Also took a pic of the car screen while it was hooked up to the jumpers and I was cleaning it out. I didn't scroll down. Figured I had seen enough. I hope to never see this many fatal errors again..

Sorry to bring back an old threat but I got rear ended today. My car wouldn't let me put it into Drive and I was stuck in the third lane of the freeway. Did this happen to you too? I pretty much had the same catalog of error messages

Your pyrofuse probably blew due to the collision. It’s a safety feature of the car and will sever the connection to the high voltage battery pack if there’s a significant collision. Typically there will be some error messages indicating the car has limited power, may not restart, limited 12 V power etc.
