Actual Range for LR AWD, With Charge Buffer?

For the initial leg of a trip:

310 miles * 0.8 (90% down to 10%) = 248 EPA rated range in ideal conditions (65 MPH with no wind and moderate temperature).
248 * 0.8 = 198 miles of average range (in my experience)
248 * 0.6 = 149 miles for a (mostly) worst-case winter weather scenario.

Subsequent trip legs (charging from 10% to 60%):

310 miles * 0.5 = 155 miles EPA
155 * 0.8 = 124 miles average range
155 * 0.6 = 93 miles worst-case winter range

You can vary your range quite a bit depending on how much you want to charge at the Supercharger and how fast you want to drive. Faster road speed and more frequent, shorter stops make for the quickest overall trip time. I usually unplug between 60 and 70% on trips, although I'll push it higher in the winter if I need to. We usually run for 180 - 200 miles on our first leg and we target about 120 to 150 miles on subsequent legs, depending on Supercharger spacing.

Keep in mind these numbers are for long road trips. Short trips will use more energy, so your mileage may vary.
