Advantage of latest charger vs older vs 2?

Would appreciate your thoughts on a Tesla charger home install.

I have the previous version Tesla charger with the longer cable.

What are the advantages / disadvantages vs the latest charger version.

I believe that the new one has better safety built-in. Maybe higher capacity for the old one.
But overall most people will never know the difference.

New one is a bit easier to install, and uses wifi for powersharing. Old one can support upto 80A instead of 48.

There are gen1/2/3 now. The 3 has wifi which I avoid as plague. Gen 2 is easy to install, could be equipped with long cable and supports 80A. The newer Teslas don't do 80A, so 48A/60A breaker is the max.

I'd still go with gen2 over gen3 if I were buying today.
