After Summon doors locked

I asked in the Model 3 forum, but didn't get an answer, so I figured I'd ask here to a larger audience

I don't regularly use Summon/Go To Target
The last two times I tried it, when I got to car, the doors were locked.
I had to play with handles a few times before I was able to get in car.
Is there something you need to do, when using Summon, to unlock doors?

I don’t see anything in the manual to suggest that Summon unlocks your doors automatically. Are you saying your phone key works reliably 100% of the time when you’re not using Summon?

I don’t expect Summon to unlock doors. I expect the stopped car to be unlocked when I’m trying to open door with phone in my hand.

Phonekey works 95% of the time without Summon…phonekey didn’t work 100% of the time when recently using Summon (okay, it was only three times last week.. and I hadn't use it for months before)… coincidence?

If you’re using Summon in the same location each time, see if your phone key works in the same location without using Summon. Maybe there’s something in that area interfering with Bluetooth.
