If Uber thought there was a loophole to circumvent CA Autonomous Vehicle Test Permit, a new bill is now introduced to give some teeth for DMV to

    1) impound the vehicles,
    2) fine companies up to $25,000 per vehicle, per day of violation,
    3) ban violators from applying for autonomous vehicle permit for two years.

I think this is a good idea. I moved from Uber to Lyft recently. I'm not a stickler for rules in general, but Uber went a little too far this time.
