Yea, the Tesla control plane lives in AWS. They use NLB and ELB quite a bit for a service called Hermes, and the car will upload data to S3 fairly regularly (likely when they task the fleet with data collection). There's a Go (lang) service in the car that makes a .tar of images, videos, and CAN bus data, and uploads it to S3. Updates are distributed by Akamai, and maps are hosted by Fastly.

Anytime you complete a trip with Autopilot engaged it uploads a lot of data after you get back home and on wifi. I'm assuming it's video from the cameras to help train the AI. My Model Y has uploaded 23 GB in the last month and downloaded only 2.1 GB.
