Android phone key no longer works after service visit: here is fix

I saw many posts and videos on how to reconnect, none of which worked for me. What did work for me was 1) uninstalling then reinstalling the mobile app, which now displays phone key as a choice, 2) going into the car and setting up the phone key as I originally did.

I took delivery last week, went home and put the paperwork (and card keys) on the counter, since we were late for lunch. Ate lunch and came out to my new Model 3 only to find I couldn't drive it.

Fortunately Customer Service directed me to reinstall the app and then how to start the car through the app, and I've been careful to keep a key card in my wallet and one in the wife's purse at all times now.

I have no problem setting up and opening my 2023 MYLR via my Samsung S21.
But my wife constantly has had problems with her Samsung S22.

My Tesla app shows "Phone Key Connected " under[Security & Drivers]

When my wife could not open the car , the app shows "Samsung S22 connected". I just uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Now her phone shows "Phone Key Connected". So I assume that's the real problem? but I am not sure.

Can the Pros shed some light on this? Thanks
