I just got matched with a mid-Nov build Model S LR which has a MF (2021) VIN.

Is there any downside to accepting it in lieu of going for a 2022? The way I see it: There are no build changes and I don't care about resale/depreciation. The fact that it's a 2021 means the excise tax/reg fees are going to be lower for me than if I went for a 2022.

What is the general consensus?

Looking at the used market (at the current times) if you have an MS with low miles the year doesn't seem to make a difference resale-wise. I took delivery of a 2021 LR two weeks ago and reserved it for 82k in January. Same build today is 98.5...I don't see how you can go wrong...enjoy the car.
