Do you know if the trim where the rear seatbelts rest are carpeted? That's apparently rolling out to help reduce the rattle from the seatbelts.

I’ve been seeing VINs F542+ are getting cargo covers. Can anyone with a VIN higher than 542 confirm?

My F542 has the cover, but my rear windows are not double pane.

Picked up my LRMY on 9/10. Fremont build. Build date on door sticker says 9/22. New door panels, Matrix lights but no parcel shelf. Car had 5 miles on it so it went from production to test to Stockton delivery center. VIN F541xxx

It's the sound you hear when you go over bumps. Sounds like a deep bass boom at times. Sometimes it's subtle. I didn't notice it until driving for a month or so.

IMO... NO. Cargo cover has little -if any- capability to absorpt /suck up noise. Material needs to have porosity and "pyramid" design for it to work

NF548 MYP in the bay area, no cargo cover. I was disappointed and asked service about ordering the parts for it, and they said "no, it is not retrofittable", despite showing them all the posts and proof of other service centers either offering to install via mobile service, or ship out for customers to do themselves.

I'm sure they have to say that since it's not technically officially offered by Tesla as a retrofit, but I put in the order for the parts via mobile app anyway and will see what happens.

My Model Y LR was built in Fremont in July and was delivered last month sans cargo cover or door panels etc.

Just saw a F551 VIN with a build date of a few days ago not receive the cargo cover. It seems to be random at this point
