hopefully we will get these in the UK - like many I have been umming and arrrrghing over wheels, weighing up comfort, colour, covers etc. I was thinking of powdercoating the gemini alloys, but this may be a decent alternative, if the price is right! First, my model Y needs to arrive!

I got these from tessories.co.uk. They also have a few other styles, as well as one that looks a lot like the laminars, but not at the silly imported price... they sell out quick though!

Mine shipped from China so i assume they are available to ship to the US. Ali Express ships anywhere i guess. No idea about actual US retailers.

Alternative option is to paint the standard covers. I took a punt with the logic that if they ended up looking terrible they weren't pricey to replace.

Used 4 cans of plasti dip (£36) which also left enough to do the wing mirrors.

On a side note, the edge of the alloy is still visible outside the cover so I used black vinyl tape. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as wifey is kinda kerb happy - means I can just paper over the cracks each time and re tape the kerb rash in the short term

This is not my car but on a white Model Y charging next to me at Chester Zoo a week ago. It looks like they are the standard covers with carbon fibre film covering the silver part plus white rim protectors.
