Anybody ever get YOKED??

A number of people have done it. You can search for multiple threads on topic. But a few like it, it seems more don't but no actual poll done. Since it doesn't have steer by wire, I'd test drive one for sure before buying it.

Changing the steering wheel on a pre-2020 Model S can be done, but it's important to note that it may require some technical expertise and familiarity with automotive components. Here are some points to consider:

Difficulty: The difficulty level can vary depending on your mechanical aptitude and experience with automotive DIY projects. It involves removing the airbag, disconnecting electrical connectors, and properly reinstalling the new steering wheel. If you're not comfortable working with these components, it's advisable to seek professional help.

Cost: The cost of a new steering wheel replacement can vary based on factors such as the type of steering wheel (e.g., aftermarket or OEM), materials used. It's recommended to research prices from different sources to find the best option for your budget.

Benefits: Upgrading to a new steering wheel, such as the Tesery yoke steering wheel, can offer several benefits such as enhanced aesthetics, improved grip, and additional features depending on the model chosen. It can also personalize the interior of your vehicle and provide a more comfortable driving experience.
