I don't think it's possible. Have you tried the voice command? With this new update, how do I turn on the heated seats without the AC turning on? Seems like the only way to access the heated seats is via the AC temperature readout and when you tap on it, it always turns on the AC
I don't even like that because it's not intuitive to look at the center console as you change lanes.I like the blindspot camera but hate almost everything else on the update lol
But… that’s the only place on a Tesla to look for anything. The alternative is just to not have it at all, so I’ll take this. Used it for the first time today and found it very handy on a car with less than stellar visibility.I don't even like that because it's not intuitive to look at the center console as you change lanes.
I think you have to press the car button on the lower left hand corner to see the status. Or you can check the phone app. It doesn't make any sense...I got the new update, how can we see if sentry mode is on when parked? Can no longer see the red dot when it's active.
I just push my side mirrors out so it's always seeing the blind spot (not the car). That seems to do the trick for me.But… that’s the only place on a Tesla to look for anything. That said, it’s in the wrong place. With my right hand at 2 o’clock on the wheel it basically blocks the view. It also covers up the next navigation instruction. Not sure why they’re so insistent on taking up so much screen real estate on a virtualization of what’s happening all around for me to see.
It’s enabled/disabled in the autopilot settings.I don't find the blind spot camera that useful and it makes my wife feel car-sick!
Is there a simple method to disable that display? I can swipe the image down to kill it but that is annoying and a bit distracting, I didn't find a preference to turn that feature off.
How do you do this?Got it 44.6 yesterday and promptly tried out remote sentry, very cool.
I HATE this update. That said, I hate change and I know the software will always be evolving. After a few days of driving, I am starting to get used to the overall layout. The old UI was better but this isn't as terrible as it initially seemed. At least the most important functions (climate, wipers, etc.) are near the bottom corner instead of across the other side of the display.
