Been experiencing some steering wheel shakes. Front left wheel feels bumpy when over 10mph and steering wheel wants to turn right. Any general ideas on diagnosis?

I’ve set a service apt but would like to know if this needs urgent service

I'm guessing it holds a lampshade in place.

That is known as a rivnut. It is used to put threads in a thin sheet of material. My guess is it came off the frame and was used to hold the underbody panel.
