Anyone seen or experiencing 2nd gen seat start deteriorating or tears?

Just wondering if any high usage miles pro here start noticing it or you seen it in Tesla show room? This is for second gen none perforated seats.

Front seat bases have wrinkles and bunches in the stiches. Had the SC take pictures. 12k miles

15000 miles and drivers head rest is fraying a bit where head hits. Hopefully you can replace just the head rest...... Or it's covered by warranty. I've never had a leather seat come apart like this

It’s not leather. I wonder if your hair product is causing the vegan “leather” to deteriorate. Should definitely be covered under warranty.

I don't use hair product, shave my head usually. But should definitely not be doing this already. Can the headrest be just replaced?

I think my hair product is leaving residue/staining in the area. I would be shocked if an owner damaging part of the car with hair product would be covered under warranty.

15000 miles, black seats still look great. Kids have spilled/dropped all sorts of crap on them, everything just comes right off with a baby wipe.

Mine is looking similar at only 5,000 miles but I DO wear hair product so assume that’s contributing to it. I’ve seen you tubers with similar issues on their model S’. Is it possible to just replace the head rest? How much?

The headrest is quite easily removed from the rest of the seat. I don't know if Tesla sells replacements, but you can find listings for OEM headrests on Ebay for $150-200.
