Have a 2018 S 100D with ~70k miles. Half shafts were replaced in January 2021. They appear to be bad again. SC gave me a full price quote to fix. I tried to make the case that the latest TSB with the so-called "permanent" fix was issued in May 2021 and that it's not right for the customer to have to pay for multiple repairs of the same part when iterations of TSBs and the commonplace nature of this issue indicate the problem is with Tesla. They said they may be able to work with me on price but can't do it for free under repair warranty. Who has had success getting the SC to do this for free on the n+1 repairs? If so, what has been your approach? Any other advice? Thank you.
