I am not sure Elon is really changing his messaging all that much. He might not be using the term L5 but he is claiming that FSD Beta is pretty close to not needing anyone in the car by the end of this year and definitely by next year. So he is claiming FSD Beta is close to driverless. And he does not put any conditions on it. So, presumably, he means driverless everywhere in all of the US which would be L5. It is an absurd claim since FSD Beta is not pretty close to driverless in all of the US as Elon claims.

AP3 will be forgotten with no clear upgrade path. Those 4k cameras would be nice though.
