It is now today but I've been moved out to tomorrow again (Friday at 1PM)! At least now have a VIN 115K+ and paperwork. Car supposedly inbound on a truck from Alabama.

Yes - I was considering S5 Sportback as well - nice car - enjoyed the test drive - but when I rented a local M3 and drove it around for a couple of days - that sealed the deal for me as well...now the wait continues....
Hey @srjinatl I just realized you and I are waiting on exactly the same car. Well, I’m EAP not FSD but from a hardware standpoint, the same. If you don’t mind me asking, what was your order date? I ordered June 29th and at times I feel like I’m the last June order on earth without a car or at least a scheduled delivery. Hopefully they will ship 2 MSM AWD black 18”Aeros to Alpharetta at the same time so you and I can meet up when we both take delivery.

so my order date is 7/20. I just recently sent them an email to drop the FSD from my build - which of course hasn't been changed yet - so with that change - we would be ordering the exact same config. Would be great to get ours at the same time - would be nice to meet some of the folks from the forum here in person - but with your order date - I would hope yours is coming before mine - and I would think you should be hearing something within the next week. I hope mine gets here before the end of October - and more importantly by Thanksgiving as I would love to take it to Charleston where my family always gathers for its first major road trip... the waiting is getting tougher by the day....Thanks! Yah im coming from a Jaguar F-Type S... so driving my fiancé's civic around was killing my soul

Awesome! it seems that black interior is taking forever... I have been tempted to switch to white!
I ended up doing something similar. Delivery specialist told me that they had an AWD with white interior available on the East Coast and no idea when they would get the Performance with Black interior I ordered over to the East Coast. I decided I was sick of waiting and saving some money didn't hurt so I went for it. Should be here in about a week.
Just posted on the AWD thread, I have a VIN! Delivery scheduled for 10/21 in Alpharetta, VIN is 094XXX. So excited, this finally seems real. Hope all you guys that don’t have one already get your VIN and delivery scheduled soon.
They called today and said my Blue P3D+ (VIN 72XXX) will be rolling off the truck tomorrow night, so they moved my appt from tomorrow (10/6) at Alpharetta to Sunday (10/7) at Decatur. I'm hoping it's for real this time. 4th reschedule. Trying to stay optimistic. Just hope it's in good condition with no major defects.
Surprise surprise - I got a call from my DA tonight after I got home from work - scheduled delivery for Nov 1st! Could have scheduled a bit earlier but my wife is out of town on business - so this was first date she was back in town. Hopefully will be able to verify ahead of time that the car is there, etc. Only bummer is that I will have to redo my loan app since the first one I did expires tomorrow...

Smdh how is this hard to get a car delivered. Just don’t call and schedule until the car is at the showroom ready for pickup...
As much as I'm looking forward to getting my Model 3, I'm also dreading it because I assume delivery is going to be a mess.
