Audible input of navigation stopped working

When I first got my M3 I was impressed how easy it was to get nav instructions following voice input. This has stopped working. I can input the address from the screen but that is not optimal if you're doing this on the fly. I've rebooted the screen but no success. Any suggestions.

Are you saying if you press and then say "Navigate to Walmart on South street" nothing happens??? Does it type the words you are saying on the screen?

It types the words that I have spoken but then says "try again"

Are you saying Navigate to or Directions to? I made the mistake of trying to say Navigation to and it would not work and say Try Again. Even though this works fine in Apple/Google Maps.

If it's hearing your words (I.E. typing them on the screen), and then saying try again, that means you're giving it some kind of instructions it can't understand, like a place that it can't figure out, or something else that's confusing it. Perhaps if you post a photo of what the voice command thingie is transcribing your instructions as, we could figure it out.

I would say navigate to. I'll try directions toad see if it works.

it will also do this if there's no (or limited) service and it can't connect to the internet, in my experience.
