I see that self steering cars will be allowed in the UK quite soon. BBC news article also had a short video in which warnings were audio.
That's one thing that would add enormously to a positive driving experience - spoken messages.
As it is now, messages flash up and disappear too soon, in text too small to read comfortably (old eyes), and if I missed it, it's gone. And I have to take my eyes off the road to read them, which is dangerous, so many of the warnings and messages are lost on me.
If they were spoken, I would hear them and recall what I'd heard, and not have to take my eyes off the road.
I wonder if Tesla has any plans to do this?
