August Order Estimate Delivery

I'm wondering if Tesla is just kicking out the lower priced plain jane older orders now to get to the more slightly more expensive MYLR plain janes that they are backlogged on. Seems January might be the month for us August orders to get our cars...still only halfway through so plenty of time left.

All weather mats are still out of stock! But do these Teslas not come with the basic carpet mats? I see that those are in stock...so was wondering if I have to buy those for now?

Please tell me you put your order on hold. Otherwise the question still is, “Why is an early August order date estimated delivery in freaking March???”

They’re not the only one with an August order and a March delivery date. I ordered mine 8/19 and my current edd is 2/9-3/9. I’m convinced it’s because it’s the 7 seater and partially because I didn’t complete my profile until 10/1.

Dont know when Canadians will get a VIN drop.. its been ages, The last i saw someone in Canada get a VIN was december..

Same province, same config, you ordered a day before me and our EDDs are pretty much the same too. If that makes younger any better.

HI folks...longtime thread lurker and fellow august order. OD 8/12 VIN 1/14 and scheduled delivery next wednesday. MSM MYLR no add ons..hopefully those of you waiting get the call soon. The wait has been long but this is my 4th Tesla and its worth it every time.

Woke up to an updated EDD of 2/4 - 2-18 after it not moving for weeks. OD 8/24.

It’s been awhile, but I haven’t forgot about you guys. My son had surgery this week so it’s been crazy…. But I did pick up my MYLR yesterday. Other than some scratches to the frame, the inside door trim not aligned, and a faulty coat hanger, the car is a beauty. I’m so in love! I was starting to get nervous that I made a mistake ordering the car after waiting so long, but trust me it’s worth the wait. More pictures to come.

Other than some scratches to the frame, the inside door trim not aligned, and a faulty coat hanger, the car is a beauty. I’m so in love! My pearl white 19” black int, had an EDD as March 13-April 10 as of yesterday having ordered in August last year. Today I see the est as September. Is this a joke or are others having a similar change to their order? My heart is broken
