Anyone know if Tesla will allow out of state buyers (Im in Canada) to pick up their CT's at the factory ?

Would be cool to come and see the factory, and drive it home.

They should do It. It would be similar to when Chevrolet offered museum delivery when purchasing a corvette. Complete the deal and paperwork then fly in and road trip your new CT.

I can see this being popular like how BMW, Audi, Mercedes, ...etc... had European delivery. Austin is a fun place to visit. Hopefully Tesla can get the insurance, registration, and other paperwork aspects worked-out for new owners to travel and pick-up.

I've been lucky being close to Fremont where I picked-up my MY. Things can get damaged during shipping and prep and I didn't have to worry about any of that.
