auto power on after power off - HVAC

I have noticed, for at least five updates now, that my HVAC when I switch it on behaves in a bizarre manner, perhaps due to some new, undisclosed logic.
Air conditioner on, setting all automatic, 20°C.
outside temperature 3°C.
if I switch off the air conditioner it switches on again after 5 max 10 seconds, automatically.

is this normal?
