Base Model X came with Plaid Badge

My base Model X came with Plaid Badge on the rear. The interior trim is wood not carbon fiber. How can I tell if it has 2 motors or 3 motors?

Which menu? I don't see anything anywhere that shows motors.

Easiest way is to go to software and if its a regular model X it will just say Model X. If it's not it will say PLAID. I think there's a more options to see dual motor magnet, your cell phone IEM number etc

Yup it just says Model X without the Plaid. So someone on the assembly line slapped on the badge by mistake. Or for fun?

oh yeah it does! haha scroll to the bottom specs and warranty

My friend also picked up an X this week. 7 seater non plaid, came with the plaid badge.

The only reasonable way for Tesla to fix this is to install the dual rear carbon wrapped motors and update the firmware so it matches the badging........of course
