Titanium mettalic. And we've realized that all electric is not for us in this rural area. It is a fantastic automobile though.

You have two superchargers within 40 miles, another in construction, and have 250 mile range car. Not sure rural is an issue...you look to have two other large trucks available to drive for those longer trips.

Strange listing, I actually emailed the seller through the Craigslist post when it was listed for $98k. Never responded back...

I engaged the OP. Summary is that he was selling on behalf of another person that was older and not a person that was technologically savvy. I would assume that the actual owner of the vehicle didn't want to plan for any trips. While Tesla's are great there still is a planning factor that one needs to go through. Nothing wrong with that - just the wrong car for the person. Due to the trade, someone will likely end up with a great 85D at a decent price compared to new.

Knowing what I know (VIN, approx. location, etc) I wonder if I should chase the car down and make an offer to the dealership that owns it now. Thoughts?
