Thinking about selling my ‘14 MS85 AP1 and buying a new MS P100D. Preliminary research on the internet showed a variety of ways to sell privately (Craigslist, autodrader, etc.) but didn’t reveal any one “go to” way. Suggestions and experiences appreciated.

cargurus.com is probably the most popular in the USA and free to post for-sale. I recently sold my ICE there.

If you advertise it on craigslist, car guru, etc. be ready for lots of tire kickers and test rides because it is such a unique vehicle. I would definitely advertise it at TMC in this forum since you already have knowledgeable consumers.

Bought two teslas via tmc and 1 thru Craiglist. Good community here, specially if you buy from a vested member which gave me a lot of confidence.

Agree with all above. I've done cargurus, craigslist, cars.com, eBay classified listing, and forum posts when selling a car. I'd definitely start out here on this forum, post pics, mileage, options, MSRP paid (sticker) if you have it, any service history, and any warranty info. Should go very quick if price is right.

I have sold two Teslas. I listed them here, craiglist, ebay, cars.com, onlyusedtesla.com, & offerup. Both buyers came from Craigslist.

I bought one here not long ago for the asking price, so I would suggest here. Put out a few feelers through craigslist as well although I think there's more caution from both potential buyers and sellers with working through craigslist.
