WTB Black Next Gen Seats (front pair)

I am very tired, so is my butt, from the gen 1 seats in my 2014 MS85. Looking for a pair of front seats to replace. I really like the Recaro Next Gen seats that are in the D and P cars. Thanks!

    Vinyl Tesla Wall Decals

I did a test of the logo but am not happy with the quality of the material as it fed out of the cutter, you can't tell from the photo, but there are some creases and bends in the vinyl. I am also a bit Leary about copyright issues. I apologize for getting anyones hopes up, but there are some...

    Vinyl Tesla Wall Decals

My cutter can only handle 2' widths, I could make the T in 2 parts with a seam down the middle...but on my CNC I could cut you out a 4'x4' :) that would be MDF or plywood though. I will be getting the vinyl in next week and will make some tests then post pics and prices for everyone!

    Vinyl Tesla Wall Decals

I am thinking that a 24"x170" ish TESLA would run about $60? then smaller would be less obviously, looking for input on demand, I will be doing some test cuts and samples in the coming weeks and will post the pics and final prices as well. Thanks for all the interest!

Am I going to miss a center console?

I second that. I really would like to have them in mine, but have not yet convinced myself to pony up 1250 for cupholders and a cubby...but it would look so much better than any of the other aftermarket ones.

    Heating Model S?

So just an off the wall thought, but according to some calculations from a Kman video the heater in the Model S uses 342Wh when set at 74 degrees and 6.4KWh when set to hi...if you used one of those small car heaters (12V) for your feet (that is usually the only cold part for me) they only use...

    Charging Approach

I have a charger at home, but try not to use it...mostly because I am cheap, but also because I live 5 mi from a supercharger. I drive 70-80 miles everyday and charge at the supercharger every other. My range does take a hit on cold days but I have been working with some custom HVAC settings and...

    Strange noise while charging

I am not familiar with the M3 but if it is happening while not charging, it could be a fan for heating/cooling the battery like in the MS. Just had both of mine replaced for noises while charging/sitting.

yeah, it was mentioned a few pages back that there is a newer vent cover for the footwell.

    My feet are freezing!

I haven't talked with my SC yet about the issue, but having a 2014 I thought that I would already have the newer cover for the footwell...maybe not. I have resorted to proper winter driving shoes for the model s (thick wool socks and slippers) they work well and I change at work into my dress...

    2014 S85 Supercharging

Thanks for all the replies and the knowledge, I will continue to try different stalls at the charger to see if there is a good one I haunt used yet. 2014 S85 Supercharging

New owner here, have had the car about 2 months and love it but am concerned about the supercharging speed that has been pretty unpredictable. Here are some pictures from the other day, I would like some thoughts before calling the SC. Both times the car was at about 5% charge when starting, and...

    CPO Experience

@Doanster1 I just have trust in the process, especially now that it is over. My team was great and I wish you luck on the hunt. Also I did a due bill for a few more items too that were a little worn and used, they fixed/repaired with no hesitation. Plus the warranty is a good piece of mind for me!

    CPO Experience

I would agree...last year I pulled the trigger on an 85 but backed out within the 72 hour limit. All through that process there was a lot of waiting for information and undressed emails. However most recently she was great!

    CPO Experience

I have been using these forums for years now, researching and learning from all the knowledge there is to be had here, and finally bought one. WTB Loaded Model S 85

I second that! Yolanda is GREAT. I found my MS85 during the Jan. 2 dump from Tesla. From my experience, they like to do big uploads quarterly vs as they come in. I looked for literally years before finding this car. It was a compromise on a lot of my beginning MUST HAVES, but being young and...

WTB- Integrated center console for a Model S

I was in the same boat when I bought mine, but could not justify spending upwards of 1k for a cubby and a cup holder. I have access to a 3D printer and printed a cup holder/phone dock combo. I really like it, it gives an extra cupholder as well as a phone dock and keeps the floor open for the...

CPO Question - Should I be Happy or not?

I have just purchased a CPO last week and am hopeful to get a good one. About the service history, if you call your service center them the VIN they might tell you everything that has been done to the car (service history) I have been calling them for months and checking on VINs that Have...

    DIY Vinyl Wraps and Pieces

    DIY Vinyl Wraps and Pieces

I just bought a vinyl cutter for making signs and graphics, and was wondering if anyone had "patterns" or files to share or collaborate on for making either paint protection pieces for the car's exterior or stick on "upgrades" to the trim, door handles, emblems...I can get all kinds of different...

    Used Model S Qustions

Any reasons why this is a bad idea...my brother lives in Colorado, I could have him buy a MS for me new (to receive the 7500 federal credit, and the 5000 state credit) and then he give me the credit money and sell me the car for $1? Then he would ced the credit money when he does taxes next year.
