Best Tires For Comfort and Efficiency?

Hi guys, I am looking for comfortable and quiet tires that have good efficiency, any recommendations?

bear in mind more efficient (ie less sticky) tires means longer braking distances in an emergency.

Personally I'd rather use a little bit more charge and be able to stop 20-30 feet shorter from 60 mph, but YMMV.

All the indications I have seen appear to support the fact that the foam makes very little difference in the real world. It will not be a consideration when I get my next tires. Plus, I like the idea if being able to more easily repair them should the need arise.

Same here. I'm going LS or QT for replacement tires.

Ditto, I've read that the foam does nothing useful in the Tesla tires and in my case, it causes a thumping noise, for the start of a drive, even though they have been road force balanced and aligned by 2 different shops.

Yes they do; I've seen the inside after a puncture that was small and fixable.

The TireRack is probably the best place to buy tires because they have the most knowledge and will help you with a question like this. I've been to their HQ in South Bend. They even have a race track where they do testing.
