Bioweapon defense mode is not loud

I got the BWDM retrofit a month or two ago. When I tried it today it was not significantly louder than my normal A/C. I checked the fan speed via the left scroll wheel and it was at low with BWDM enabled.

I'm fine with having to adjust the fan speed manually but I wonder if the cool BWDM button on the screen actually does anything.

Mine roars at 8 iirc. It came installed on my 2024.

It really should be called Bio Extraction Mode because that's what it does.
