Blacking out the chrome

I have a 2018 model 3 long range and I would like to black-out the chrome. I've seen numerous videos about plastidip for the car. My question is what do y'all recommend. Plastidip or a wrap for the chrome.

I used Plasti-Dip Luxury Metal Black Sapphire and their Glossifier a little over two years ago. It went on easily but made sure I taped everything off and put a cover over the top of the car. It wasn't a big mess and now that I'm two years in I'll have to redo the trim along the driver-side front door. I must rub up against it when I enter/exit the car and it is starting to peel along the edge. That's the only area that I'll have to redo, and will probably try doing the pillars at the same time. I live in Wisconsin so it has withstood high heat, humidity, extreme cold, rain, sleet, and snow.
