got the upgrade. Now every time I try to stream via my iPhone 7+, using pandora Apple Music or Spotify, the song starts for one second then pauses. Will not continue. Anyone else have issue or solution??

Try forgetting the Tesla (forget device) through your iPhone bluetooth settings and then repair as a new device.

I have Android Nougat on a Nexus 6P (works fine with my headset and yes I've removed all devices) and I've done everything I can to get media playback to work.

Reboot 17", reboot phone, turn off bluetooth on phone, turn off bluetooth on 17", forget on both, re-pair on both, make a phone call (this works fine).

2.38.19 and I've done this 3 times without luck

I have a different issue. Bluetooth will be silent until I first play streaming radio - after that it works fine
