Body improvements since Monroe teardown?

So back in 2017, Monroe tore down a Model 3 and the "worst part" was the body. Different fasteners, 7 parts that should have been 1, etc (see video). I have a 2020 on order and wondered if anything has changed with the body and assembly since then. Or, is that the Model Y?

I have a late 2018 model and all the fit & finish is fine.
I don't think they were referring to fit and finish but rather the design of the body. An example was each fender well consists of 7 or 8 smaller panels welded/riveted/glued together, while experienced car makers use one stamped panel for weight, strength, and ease/speed of assembly. Pretty certain the MY designers took care of these issues but wondering if anyone knew if the M3 benefited since 2017.

Fit and finish wasn't the issue. Munro's teardown was looking at details underneath the fit and finish, like the body frame and such. It's not something you'll be able to notice unless you literally take the car apart, piece by piece.
