Both % and distance displayed in the future?

Is there a reason that both can't be displayed?

Cleanliness I would assume. You can press on the number to change but agree if you like both, why not give the option.

I would also have dreamed of having different counter display configurations like on Model S series 1 on my Model S series 2... and even the sound of heat engines reproduced in the cockpit of the tesla... I likes to dream and Elon knows it and he will surely make us happy...

I think if the % and range were displayed together then it would be easier for people to start comparing their vehicles with others and it would turn into a PR problem. If person A's 80% condition read 250 miles and person B's read 243 miles then someone will be pissed, even though this is normal. I realize people can do this today by toggling and making note of the number pairs. Manufacturers in general do not like having consumers compare numbers like this because people will easily think there is something wrong with their car if the numbers don't match others.
