Bought a lovely 2015 MS, but now panoramic stuck

I’m considering buying a 2018 MS. Given the fact that a lot of the models that are on the market have roofs that can open I am wondering what to look at… Would you recommend with or without a sunroof that can open? I’ve read that it often brings problem with the models from 2017-2018?

You can always just never open it and treat it as a fixed glass roof.

How did you calibrated the roof, if it’s not that secret?

I would recommend, if it’s working then no issues to use it. I think the issues starts if you try to close it during drive as the torque of the car is a bit more than the roof fixture can handle. Mine is with the roof, it’s still working fine, 2016/03. Avoiding opening/closing during acceleration/deceleration. All my past car’s have had it and it seems the design is all the same, still running fine on those as well…

You can calibrate with toolbox or manually. Remove the glasa then open/close a couple of times and until you can both Links move in same distance

I believe I saw the option to calibrate the sunroof with an MCU2 car in service mode, not sure which SW version, it was 2018 so gen2 roof for sure

Yea thats true, mcu2 have it bult in. Mcu1 not
