I heard that in the latest firmware, Model 3/Y now automatically apply brakes when an obstacle is detected when reversing? Is this true? Will this somewhat alleviate the absence of RCTA?
This seems too good of a feature for Tesla to not tout. Something of that magnitude would've been mentioned in the release notes. If it wasn't mentioned, it didn't happen - that's just my guess.
Tesla has updated its Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system to include reverse function and higher speed coverage, as outlined in the updated owner's manual.
Aww, that was mean. I was just kidding. Life is priceless, and my wonderful children are the greatest gifts God has ever given me. No hard feelings though.
I knew you could take a lighthearted and harmless jab just like I did when you called me a billionaire and I could not be any farther from that so I had to reply with a jab given you’re now asking around for money! LOL. Having welcome our first a year ago, I know how expensive it is, and kudos to you guys. I don’t know how you do it lol.
