Bubble on interior around tint windows

I had full tint windows on my Tesla 3 from tint shop. I got bubble on interior fabrics around windows. Did your guy has this experience before? Please advise.

I had mine done shortly after my car was delivered and never experienced this. I would suggest you get a service appointment and basically play the WTF card. They will probably replace the planets.

Tint shop said it’s from the masking tape. It should be OK next week or two weeks.

well no that seems permanent. I had them wet but it never got it back

We just tinted our new Model Y and had the same thing happen with the bubbling of the interior fabric. Tint guy said any amount of water can cause it to separate due to lack of inconsistent glue spraying at the factory.

And it won’t revert back? This is making me hesitant to tint rear windshield.

I've had two Model 3's (2019/2020) tinted and a Model Y (2022) - none of them had that problem...full windshield tint included.

We scheduled a service request to find out what can be done to fix this. Tint guy said he will pay for any cost to repair.

We took our car to a highly rated tint shop with 800+ 5-star reviews on Yelp (who’s worked on hundreds of Tesla’s). We are baffled as to how ours became the unlucky one to get this bubbling effect.

Just because the shop has done hundreds of Teslas doesn’t mean the guy they had work on your car wasn’t brand new. Sucks, but it happens. At least the shop is going to pay for it!
