Buying a Used 2018 Model 3 vs 2020

You should find out if the car has HW 2.5 or HW 3. 3 is the latest iteration of the self-driving computer.

That sort of doesnt matter, IF the car has "full self driving already enabled" as long as it was paid for and not just some mistake of accounting.

If the car has FSD but no hardware 3, OP could schedule an appointment for free HW 3 install, so it doesnt matter if it has it now really ... again thats as long as It is a purchased FSD and not something that has been left on by tesla by mistake.

Other than looking at the exact same thing you would look at in every other used car, it might be helpful to know what a 100% charge is NOW on the car. If you are paying a premium for a car because it has FSD, make sure it actually has FSD purchased on it. the rest would be the same thing you would look for on every other used car.

You dont mention there were a few different ones available, including a couple which are not available now (Long range RWD, and Limited edition Mid Range).

What do you mean by seeing what 100% looks like?

This is what I said that you are asking about. Could you let me know what you are confused about regarding this statement? When buying a used tesla, it would be a good idea to see what a charge to a 100 percent charge shows.... but I would think anyone who is buying a used EV would want to know what the car thinks its maximum range is now (vs when it was new). I dont see any ambiguity there so what are you unclear about regarding that statement?

Side note, on your user name, if it means what it appears to mean, you forgot an F in there. the latest BMW M3s are F80s. For anyone who might have a clue what your user name means, it doesnt look right saying Therealm80", it looks like it should be "Therealmf80".
