CA license plate sticker

Does anyone know where to get a front license plate sticker? It’s the correct size of the original plate sticks on the front plate area, no frames etc. Saw one in Mountain View, CA

I printed my own on an adhesive printable plastic sheet and "copied" my real plate on my multifunction inkjet printer. I used it for awhile, but it was years ago. Now, there seems to finally be some pilot program from CA DMV. This has been in the works for awhile, looks like it may finally be available.

I went with licenseplatewrap.com. Easy process and to apply.

I scanned my plate and emailed the image to a local vinyl print shop in my area. Got 2 for $40. I put black tape behind the holes in the plate so they look black, adjusted the color and brightness bit and you can't even tell its not a real plate until you see it from the side. Another shop wanted $30 for 1, so prices will vary a bit.

If you are in CA go with https://licenseplatewrap.com/, they have a relationship with the DMV. The DMV will send you a certified letter you keep in the car saying you are approved to use a vinyl front plate. I doubt you'll get pulled over for it, but I don't take chances with price of fines in CA these days.
